FOCUS ON THE SPORT RANGE

In 2012, VALIANT extended its leisure product range with the introduction of  the COMFORT series, the CLASSIC series and the SPORT series.

At the Grand Pavois boatshow (La Rochelle) in September 2013, VALIANT will introduce the latest generation of semi-rigid RIBS for recreational use with new features to its Sport range.

The Sport series will include seven models from 4.7m up to 7.6m and the introduction of four new decks: 500, 550, 580 and 690 models.

The 630 and 760 models are equipped with a separate bow locker and anchor locker as well a fibreglass platform which improves the stability of the rib for added safety.

Optional extras are available to personalize the boat depending on its application. Packages can be recommended for a wide range of uses including diving, fishing, performance or light duty applications (consoles, jockey consoles, leaning post and benches).

Two new consoles have been ergonomically designed to offer complete protection for the driver with plenty of space to accommodate all instrumentation plus GPS or fish-finder: SP console for the 550, 580 & 630 models and SP2 for the 690 & 760 models.

Another useful feature offering great drivability is the leaning post which has been made possible by the new wider deck on the 550 & 580 models.

The Sport series is available in several finishes and tube material :

• In PVC, with a light grey tube with safety ropes and bumper in contrasting red/blue to enhance its sporty look.

• In HYPALON Orca in 1100 Dtex for models from 470 up to 580 and 1670 Dtex from 630 and up, with a choice of dark grey, black or orange depending on the size of the boat.

Last year we introduced our new 630 and 760 Sport Fishing models. This year we are completing our SPORT FISHING range with the addition of three new models: the 550, 580 and 690 Sport Fishing.

All Sport Fishing models come all in standard with black hypalon tubes, dark grey hull and deck. The 550, 580 and 630 models are equipped with the following features:

• updated SP console with hydraulic steering system
• navigation lights
• leaning post with side protection
• bathing ladder
• livewell integrated in the deck for the 580 and 630 models
• a bench locker with livewell system for the 550 model
• fuel tank integrated (550 model: 95L, 580 model : 115L & 630 model :140L)
• one set of protection cushions (630 model)
• four single rod holders

The 690 and 760 Sport Fishing will be equipped with the following features:

• new SP2 console with Smartcraft instrumentation and Verado hydraulic steering system
• navigation lights
• leaning post with 2 seats
• bathing ladder
• livewell integrated in the deck
• fuel tank integrated (690 model : 260L & 760 model 270L)
• four single rod holders
• one set of protection cushions (760 model)
• bench locker with stern and back rest (760 model)

The COMFORT series offers 4 models ranging from 5m to 6.30 m. This line is defined by a grey PVC tube, white upholstery and blue styling, which reinforce the dynamic and modern look of this line while keeping the traditional colours of Valiant.

The CLASSIC series offers 5 models ranging from 5m to 6.85 m. This series which was introduced last year includes a similar offering than the Comfort range (hull – size - deck configuration) with the addition of a brand new model, the CLASSIC 685.  This line is defined by HYPALON “ORCA” tubes in cream and a new logo which complements the neutral tones of its upholstery.

Both series offer multi-purpose boats perfectly equipped in each of their category. They offer a classic deck plan with a bench locker seat, console with front seat and sundeck. The 6.30m models come with a leaning post to enhance drive comfort.

The Classic 685 model, winner of a “Boat of the Year” award last year, can easily accommodate a large number of family and friends in comfort and style. It is powerful, well balanced, safe, easy to use and extremely comfortable. The deck is equipped with a new centre console, a large bow sundeck, a stern lounge and a leaning post for a comfortable drive.

Our Valiant model line can be powered by Mercury engines up to 200 HP for optimum performance, piece of mind and superb quality.

The official launch of the new and updated models will take place at the Grand Pavois 2013 in La Rochelle, where we will introduce the entire range of our 5 SPORT FISHING models: 550, 580, 630, 690 and 760 models. The 550 model will be equipped with a 50EFI engine; 580 with a 155EFI, the 630 with a 150EFI, the 690 with 225 Verado and the 760 with a 300 Verado. All models will be available to test.
